Results of the photo-contest „Photogenic snakes of Serbia“

 

It is our honour to present you three competition winning photographs of our photo contest „Photogenic snakes of Serbia“ that was opened through the Biologer web site from 20th of June to 10th of July 2018.

The winner of the contest is Aleksandar Urošević with his photo of Dahl’s whip snake (Platyceps najadum), one of the rarest colubrid snakes that you can meet in Serbia.

Second place goes to Miloš Mrvaljević and his photo of the Dice snake (Natrix tessellata) with its large pray. The third prise goes to Jovan Smiljković and his photo of the Nose-horned viper (Vipera ammodytes), the most common venomous snake of Serbia.
